Arguably, the gameplay is the best it’s ever been, and features some of the best gameplay designs some of these characters ever had. Fast, fluid and fun.

Everything else though? The absurd prices for skins, online desyncs, no crossplay at launch, Invasions indecisive on what it wants to be, on top of all the other bugs and real issues that are hurting the game, its not worth the price of getting full price at all. It’s shocking how things turned this time around, because basic ass features like tagging moves have been there at launch, this time we had to wait for weeks.

Excited to try it out the kameos seem very interesting and liu kang resetting the timeline seems like it’ll make for an interesting campaign. Hoping they’ll add some qol tweaks and improvements by the time I start dabbling with the online

With Tekken on the Horizon, SF6 being as successful and as promising as it has been. I totally understand this.

MK1 can really be so much more of a game and has the potential to really be the best NRS game. I don’t think the game is dead, but it’s in critical condition if things don’t change

If you sat unfamiliar’s down with 11 and 1, from graphics to menus to content, I truly believe the majority would say 11 is the most recent. They somehow built on and improved the features FIRST and then released the stripped down version no hate to developers (some of which may be itt) because working on anything & getting it out especially through covid is a miracle but damn man

11 was on unreal engine 3 modified. This was on 4 and there were many growing pains if going to 4 to the point you damn well might have went to 5 focused on it feeling next gen with mini game and soul of old games. You see old characters yes but part of why it’s a reboot is because much of current Staff doesn’t look kindly on older goofier soulful tone of the games we loved. Yes mk9 is cool but the soul is only truly seen in brutalities for me . This post getting deleted @op

lol Nigga I would be in office damn near cussing people out that they should communicate even if its bad news deliver it with some good news. Let people know how progress is. Kombat Kast worked for 11 to get gameplay changes and characters out but have something vulnerable about quality of life features. That they see your concerns etc. Because they are seeing the concerns they know those things. They read the tweets and all that . Its mentioned in back rooms but they don't really want to show vulnerability . If they dont soon it will genuinely cost them everything
