I got back into Bloodborne recently and finally wrapped up the platinum for it. Definitely not the most difficult challenge in all of gaming, but f*** the chalice dungeons do start to wear you down.
What are the most difficult games you’ve platinumed or the ones you’re most proud of?
Not yet platinum but Hollow Knight, I have every trophy except from 1 trophy which requires you to complete pantheon of hallownest.
Basically its an arena challenge area and you have to beat every single boss in the game without dying
Also theres no checkpoints
Also its the buffed version of every boss
Honestly this might be the biggest f*** you trophy I have ever seen in a game, every run takes like an hour and if you die you have to start all over again

Chalice dungeons are why I never platinum'd it. When the game stops getting fun then I lose the reason to struggle

I beat the pantheon of hallownest and have Hollow Knights platinum, that trophy alone added about 10 hours to my play time lol
i didn't think bloodborne was too bad trophy hunting wise
Beating Queen Yarnham was really the only difficult one. The defiled dungeons are just brutal.
Scary part is Bloodborne the easiest Souls game to platinum, wait till you do Dark Souls 3 & 2.
Gotta play the game like 4 times, plus grind multiplayer s***

but when you get it
i have 18 platinums but none were too difficult. maybe dead space 1 or marvel vs capcom 3

You really reached the peak of gaming by getting that s*** bro I fw you
but when you get it
Soon as I get enough time im getting that s*** bro I need that satisfaction
The worst part about this one, is it wasn’t even necessary to have the platinum, but I still forced myself thru it.
I had the Platinum for the Dishonored base game, but then they released the DLC, and even tho I still had the platinum, it took my completion down from 100% to like 60 something. Hate that PS4/PS3 does this in the first place. The DLC should be separate.
Anyways, the DLC was the Dunwall City Trials, which essentially was a bunch of challenges/minigames that all focused on your mastery of each individual skill and power.
There was one called “Bonfires”, which was all about your teleportation power called “Blink”.
The premise was simple. There was a time limit, and you basically had to race and teleport from one “bonfire” (Which were nothing but red beams of light.) to another.
What made it nearly impossible and complete utter bullshit, was the fact that on top of having to be 110% accurate wit your jumps and Blinks, otherwise falling completely off the map, the bonfires were completely randomly generated. Meaning you might have a lucky run where they’re right next to eachother, one after another, but most times you would have them spawn completely across the map from eachother, making it literally impossible to beat if they spawned like that.
So on top of needing utmost precision, it was completely luck based.
I snapped my controller clean in half no bullshit. Only time I ever did that. I did finally beat it, after 3 days of attempts and finally getting a lucky run like previously mentioned where the spawns were all right next to eachother, but it was one of those things where it wasn’t even rewarding when it was done. Felt sick wit myself for even wasting the time lmao.
To this day the hardest s*** I have ever played and it turned that platinum difficulty from a 4/10 to a 10/10.
i didn't think bloodborne was too bad trophy hunting wise
Same chalice dungeons weren't even that bad
Same chalice dungeons weren't even that bad
yeah i really didn't see the issue, they were repetitive sure but definitely not difficult lol
Bloodborne only game I platinumed. I usually drop games after Ive seen all they have to offer
