Usually great rappers kill great beats but there have been some misfires in recent years. A notable example is Jumpman - metro gave drake and future a legendary beat and the two (mostly drake) turned it into a disappointing repetitive track. Another example would be anything from PND3

Jumpman was hot for a few months but you’re right, it doesn’t hold up

normally i love drake + fewtch collabs but ya jump man was kind of more of a meme then a actually good song

The production on here is f***ing amazing but deserves a better vocalist than Jaden. The fact that he put this together and how cinematic it sounds is still impressive though

“Knob Broke” - jeezy had a go at it and so did wayne - “awkward” (same beat)
