Their albums sound exactly like turks you just didn’t listen to them and copy the opinion of the akademiks comment section hivemind

I actually did listen to the albums...u might be right but maybe its just that I can only take their styles in small doses, and the albums were too much @ once? idk i literally felt nauseated after that nav album, and I was actually rooting for him smh

real. it's been a long time since i've listened to any of his material pre-Kendrick Lamar EP so im just going off memory here but even back then, despite him not having quite found his own style and sound yet, the very prominent Jay and Wayne influence on his delivery etc you could tell there was something very unique about him the heart

i hate his old s*** wit a passion ngl if i heard training day n s*** before OD i wouldve never checked dude out bro was so cringe and mid with his jay/wayne biting, he was a decent rapper but i dont hear a "great artist" in those early recordings. im glad top and them did tho.

s*** makes his transformation/improvement even more inspiring.

i feel you though granted i haven't listened to the very first mixtapes of his since like 2016, but i swear there was some murdery gangster raps that had me like for him to keep at it relentlessly though despite his music maybe not conveying, connecting or reflecting like he wants it to and evolving until he found himself and his direction as an artist in the Kendrick Lamar EP is inspiring AF i remember an interview where he described the first time hearing himself on a the studio speakers with his voice over a beat as an instant high etc, but i wonder if he ever felt like "fuck this s*** " during those early years (random tangent i know )
