Idk I don’t like the fact that he said “ A billion streams versuses a billion fiends “ or other crack related lyrics, or rubs me the wrong way
I also don’t like the Whitney Houston cover art he used I feel like that is super disrespectful but that’s just me lol
I 100% agree with your statements regarding our government lol
Btw I heard MPA and it’s really nice
Yeah I mean it’s just braggadocios coke rap. The Whitney s*** was a lil OD ngl, but considering the aesthetic of that album, it kind of makes sense. Daytona supposed to be about the luxury of time. A Daytona rollex is the epitome of luxury and time. Push talks about that, like he can drop whenever because he has the luxury of to make a dope album.
The art kind of symbolizes that imo. Like someone who lived in luxury still got their time cut short. Plus, it wasn’t really Push’s idea, Ye insisted on it. He was the one who spent $80k buying the photo. Idk I think you’re putting Push into a box by just summing his music up to repetitive coke rap. I get I’m bias, but the dude has been rapping for so long and has a ton of songs that all sound hella different. He raps over beats not a lot of rappers would or could rap over.
Songs like Hold On, sound nothing like Come Back Baby, or s*** like Keys Open Doors sounds totally different from something like Untouchable. The fact he can come up with hella bars about the same subject matter and it still sound crisp is impressive to me.
Also MPA is one of my favorite songs ever. It’s a great song. Rocky and Ye are perfect for that beat

No I get it and I get what he’s going for but I’m sort of an activist, I donate, protest and do a lot of charity work in real life so it bothers me how he can brag about the distribution of d**** that destroys communities honestly
But then again hip hop has been built of the negative aspects of the black community
Thanks actually being civil, I’ll keep on open mind when it comes to his music lol
Eazy E
Ludacris
Pac
You smokin' d*** OP?
The only rapper I feel is truly overrated is Eminem tbh...
Luda, Ti and Eazy?
You could’ve came up with actual overrated rappers. Ask for a mod to delete this thread and start over.
