There's like this stoicism to it trynna hold onto reality, hiding the looming breakdown but also as if his last fingers are slipping off the edge, losing the battle and falling into the abyss, this irritation with his situation/condition

Idk it's a very beautiful song, very intense without doing too much, it's all in the details

And that makes it so cleverly unhinged
