Psychology degree is only "useless" if you got yourself in huge debt to get it or if you took away literally nothing from your education. That s*** applies to everything B
the correct answer is those degrees from for-profit schools and non-accredited degree mills like ITT, u of phoenix, and devry
them s***s is truly worthless
Would yuh count dem applied science degrees to dis and associates degrees as useless
Also of course philosophy. The most useless degree you can get.
My former housemate from Uni did a Economics and Philosophy degree and has just landed a job at a highly competitive and prestigious finance company
No doubt the economics component helped but even so, if you apply yourself in life you often see beneficial results regardless of what degree you have done
A lot depends on where ur going to school and who you make an effort to network with. I’m getting a humanities degree but I’ve made connections thru meeting ppl at my school who work in media and have helped me get internships. I wouldn’t have gotten these specific opportunities elsewhere regardless of my degree

culinary = chef
photography = professional phtograpger
music = music teacher
fashion is useless lmao
Psychology isn’t useless at all. You just have to get a graduate degree for it to actually work. An undergrad degree in psychology doesn’t cut it.
that says photography lmao
Nothing is really useless as long as you learn something from it and it helps with your personal development. Unfortunately the marketization of university make further education seem like an "investment" where there needs to be a monetary gain for it to have been worth it.
Music major and I know it’s not the most practical thing but I never would’ve learned as much as I did without the structure of school and instructors guiding me, plus being there helps you make connections too

According to studies philosophy majors have on average the highest iq out of every other major

Yeah that’s exactly what I’m saying. A psychology degree can actually be very useful and lucrative. It just doesn’t directly translate to one job. It can be used for a huge variety of different career paths.
