Seems pretty useless
In hospitality you rise up as you get more experience.
When I used to work in catering venue, I knew a guy that was finishing up his hospitality degree. I thought that was just waste of time.
It is important if you care about your message. The messenger is just as important.

I’ve heard STEM majors s*** on humanities people, finance majors s***ting on math majors, CS people s*** on engineers and vice versa, electrical engineers s*** on agricultural engineers and aero/chem engineers s*** on civil engineers, etc.

You're talking to one family. Stack exchange gonna attract those types though cause of the reddit type points system but most math dudes I know are pretty humble. That may change with higher degrees though
