serenadeyou can not like the album but it accurately represents the place he's at in his life and the sounds he's feeling atm. the only thing that would be a spit in the face to the other two MOTM albums would be if he pandered to his fanbase who wants more sad tunes when that clearly isn't where he's at these days. cudi wanted to make bangers to celebrate his newfound happiness and that's exactly what he did.
Lol some ppl just want him to recycle motm2 and make another depressing ass album again.
This is why it took a whole decade for this to come out in the first place.
