    other than uzi where do they take influence from the 'emo' genre though

    because all the ppl in OP did, juice/trippie/xxx/peep/ etc

    not just because they're making sad rap but theres a direct influence from the emo wave

    ur broadening the definition a lot when the label is a lot more specific

    future def a godfather to that s*** tho

    idk why lucki doesn't seem like "emo rap" to me even though he should fit nicely cause he checks a lot of the boxes

    Earl with idlsidgo is loosely emo rap but its not like that melodic emo s*** that the guys mentioned above do, like singing.

    No, Luv is Rage dropped in 2015, most of these guys gained their first followings in 2016 but didn’t blow up into the mainstream until 2017/2018

    Facts. These guys are a different sound and majority sad subject matter as well. Xan needs to be replaced though if you're talking about soundcloud emo rap. Bones should be there
