I watched Risky Business last night. I always thought this was gonna be a John Hughes style teen comedy about some guys trying to throw a party and get laid while he had the house to himself. Basically I expected Porky’s

I Put it on and immediately get hit with the synth heavy Tangerine Dream score

I was surprised cause I’ve always known the movie as the one where Tom Cruise dances in his underwear to Old Time Rock and Roll. Had no idea what the plot actually was.

I was pleasantly surprised, cause I always put off watching it.

Risky Business surprised me too. I thought the same as you. Expected a rom com

I expected it to be coherent

I thought Spring Breakers was gonna be a teen comedy

I thought Drive was gonna be a romcom

Sexy Beast.
Thought it was gonna be a heist movie. Was surprised with the direction it went in. Highly underrated and unique movie.

I thought Raising Arizona was gonna be a romcom

Incredible film, think the title puts allot of people off but anybody please watch it if you haven’t it’s fire

When I saw this in theaters I kind of expected the same. Figured it would be comparable to Neighbors. So many people walked out the theater

I had put it on and was scrolling through my phone, once I heard the score I had to put my phone down and pay attention

After Hours.
Went in blind for the most part while going through Scorsese's Filmography. This movie was so wild and entertaining and very very very different from most of his movies. Felt like a long 'Are You Afraid Of The Dark' episode for adults in the best way possible.

After Hours was dope

Only god forgives..I saw the guy on a bike with a uzi in the trailer I was like yo this is gonna be like drive (my favorite oat) with more action.

Midnight Run. Thought it was gonna be a chaotic chase film, but it was way more than that.
