I wanna get out of this country but I have really limited knowledge on life outside of the US.

What are some places that have a better quality of living, healthcare, affordable needs, etc.

I know this is contradicting to the things I said but France is like a dream location (although I’ve heard a lot of negative things) I’ll prob just end up visiting there later in life instead of live but what are some of your guys’ experiences/recommendations?

    Are you a US Citizen?

Are you a skilled individual in a in-demand field?

Do you have citizenship in the EU/ whatever country you want to go to?

Do you speak a second language?

Are you married to someone who has citizenship somewhere else?

Are you of Italian or Irish descent? If so, you may have a good chance of getting by-blood citizenship, even if you are American. Do some research on that

Decent places to start if you want more information

Need a job & knowledge of said location.

And need to know about citizenship & property owning as a foreigner in said locale since its different country to country.

Aka not cheap, simple nor is it fun n games. Figure it out & look into it if serious.

    I’m learning French

    No citizenship/marriage

I do want to get into the medical field if my ideas after graduation don’t fall through so idk if that can land me a job out of the country or not

Work remotely. Spain is dropping that digital nomad visa soon. I imagine the salary requirements are gonna be like 1-2500 Euro per month, which is really not that crazy. There are remote customer service jobs that pay that. You can live somewhere like Bilbao and you're less than 4 hours from Bordeaux and a little more from Toulouse, which is one of my favorite cities. The only issue is, Spain's visa is gonna tax you 15%.

I think I'm still gonna do Portugal next year for a few years, but after I might go see wassup in Spain if I'm not tired of the area by then. But then again, Canada is sitting right there looking all sexy.... I'm torn.

You gotta give more details about what you're looking for and what restrictions u have

  • Jun 1, 2022

Just be aware that health conditions can restrict what countries you go to and Public healthcare is generally for its citizens.

I’ve been looking into Costa Rica. If I can some how make an American income down there, rent and property is fairly inexpensive.

Only restrictions right now are money/language barriers

I want to be in a artistic city with a good combination of city/nature
