Did you move from out of state? How did you go about finding an apartment/home?

I moved from out of state. My suggestion would be to find a realtor. Do you know which area you’re looking at?

We want to be close to river north, does not have to be river north, though. We are familiar with Chicago from frequent trips and staying with our suburb friends.

Like all the neighborhoods we have stayed in north and northwest of river north. I will likely be transferring with my employer who has a building in north loop.

I keep making a joke to others when they ask where we wanna stay by saying “the closer I am centennial (a craft beer bar if you are not familiar) the better” haha.

What other areas did you consider and what sold you on your choice?

Hit up Diplomat Cafe for Georgian food up in Lakeview. Monteverde at Fulton is incredible Italian food

Do you live here?

Yeah river norths great! I wanted to pick a spot where I could walk to work and its about a 6 minute walk. Other than that, I live in a high-rise with decent amenities and a pretty good view of the city for a good price all things considered. Are you guys looking into renting or buying?
