It's been a long time coming but I think covid finally got the ball rolling faster than ever;

Fast food as an industry is no longer sustainable in its current form. If you're trying to buy into fast food rn, you're gambling against pretty bad odds unless you already own multiple franchises.

The trifecta of wanting to make money vs paying well enough to have employees that give a s*** vs actually having good food is pretty much impossible to maintain these days.
