That just really dropped at like a perfect moment in my life.

Prob the best rapping both of them ever did on record and Metro staying consistent with that Halloween-themed typed beats was just fire.

Take Care is Drake's best project by virtue of being his only project that feels like an actual cohesive project and not a collection of songs. And it's not like it's so much better than Drake's other best projects; it's on the same level as IYRTITL and NWTS from an individual song by song standpoint (an area in which NWTS - one of my favorite albums of all time - wins).

Also, I have no cynicism about Drake's albums being "bloated" - they were bloated before bloated albums were an advantage in the streaming era, plus hip-hop albums have been bloated for as long as Betty White has been alive. Now is he conscious of the streaming advantage this gives and thus is encouraged even more to do it? Of course, but he's evidently a studio rat like his mentor before him -

Who also never gave much care into making cohesive albums.

    Reinvent, take risks, branch out

Why laud him as someone better than Kanye when he doesn’t have the balls to do what Kanye does

Artistic integrity and respect shouldn’t be solely on the success of a work in terms of critical reception and popularity but also in how an artist can keep from falling into a routine

I don't really compare Drake and Kanye.

I also don't think taking a "risk" should earn an artists any respect just for the simple fact that they did it. There are plenty of niggas in the GOAT conversation who didn't take any risks at all.

Thats why I brought up future lol. Like nigga can drop the same trap album rapping about the same things, and niggas eat it up every time, without ever changing.

But Drake drops an album with like 3-4 different genres and people start asking "why doesn't he try something else". For someone like Kanye its easier, because he didn't spread himself as thin as Drake did starting out.
