The forced hype and forced hate for Joke was so corny. Alot of people were calling it terrible and masterpiece before it dropped.

It was great tho and it's a good example of adapting a stories theme without adapting the story.

Much like The Shinning by Kubrick Joker does that for Moore killing joke.
