taking inspiration from one another is a good thing when it’s done in good fashion and not in an appropriated, white-washed way. you niggas strip everything about black culture to the bones and then make it digestible to a large white audience, it’s gross and very disgusting. i don’t know why people get fired up when someone wears something (like a balaclava) from another culture but when we have people walking into hip hop s***ting on it (post Malone lirrally said if you want to feel s*** don’t listen to hip hop while making generic trap nonsense with a country touch on it) and it’s praised like it’s the greatest thing ever. it’s stupid.
