Swing/bounce (groove) is a result of the timbre of the drums themselves not just the rhythm

You can't replicate bounce by just replicating the rhythm

peep the dynamics folder and read dynamicscontrol file. its basically a compressor guide.

Ive done enough research to know what each component of a compressor does(threshold/gain/ratio/attack/release. What gets to me is actually using that knowledge to compress a vocal to make it pop in the mix.
