BRAVEPart of it is because (for whatever reason) Drake never got the representation he deserved on mainstream radio pre-streaming
Another part is (despite being a big celeb in his own right) he was never a Kanye/Jay/Nicki/Taylor/Bieber level A-list celeb outside of music
So the burning passion surrounding the topic of Drake within the hip-hop community is almost non-existent outside of it
He's just a lightskin rapper with a beard who sings and dated Rihanna and is a diehard Raptors fan from Canada, as well as the guy who made Hotline Bling/the song in the Keke challenge
I'd take Jay out of that list and say he's a good example of the same issue Drake has.Jay doesn't have a single solo #1.
