I’ve been on KTT long enough to know where the heuristics of these so-called “leftists” lie. These are the same people that caped for Putin in the Russia-Ukraine thread, and always say things like “North Korea is a great country. If you hear anything bad, it’s just American propaganda”

Notice how no one ever says these exact words but instead any defense of why a leader shouldn’t jsut be captured and ousted by foreign invasion is someone equated to being personally invested in Maduro as a politician or his political career within Venezuela
Same cycle, every time. Nuance doesn’t matter because it’s all “it’s different this time” jsut to eventually wind up support another us intervention abroad, the sitting party only nominally matters to th extent it needs to be packaged
