Go listen to a different genre or dig thru a genres history.

Plenty of cool s*** been dropping this year. Just depends what type of music you are into
Maybe try getting in to new genres and sounds
Wasteland otw
half of that already out which kinda took away all of my hype

But its all good-great thats out so far
11-14 new tracks is still a bunch
I’m finding a lot of my music on SoundCloud now days. obscure experimental artist like DÆMON or Nappy Nappa.
Not really into the mainstream anymore. New Drake and Kenny cool but feels kinda stale
2022 one of the better years in music tbh.
Denzel, Pusha, Conway, Currensy, Kendrick, Vince, Earl, Weeknd, etc. all dropped heat and that's just off the dome.
We have lacked universal bangers for quite some time though so I guess that might make things seem more stale.
rap been stagnant for a while
its going thru its mid 2000s rock phase
No offense but I dunno how you can see all the great rap albums that got released this year(and we're only halfway in) and think that.
I do think we lack a credible rap superstar to lead the way(Baby comes close though I guess) but, strictly in terms of albums, rap is actually good rn.

A lot of these artists been around since eary 2010s and none of them even dropped their best work this year (maybe Vince did but ramona park is still just alright)
We want something fresh and wavy now

Not everything has to be brand new for the music scene to be good.
Otherwise, we would've never gotten Donda if we just wrote Ye off after JIK.
