there’s already so many genres you won’t be able to listen to all of them in a lifetime, just go and check everynoise.com

if you rely on streaming platforms you will eventually find a dead end cause they will only advertise and promote those ‘streamer friendly’ songs that
you keep hearing on the radio

that’s the main issue here, most people don’t want to take their time into discovering new music, they just want to be served

on PC if you hover with the mouse over the genre, it will appear the name of the song and artist, if you click on the little arrow next to the genre, it will lead you to a bunch of artist of that genre

they are organized from more traditional to more experimental (from left to right)

if you click the arrow next to the artist, it will eventually lead you to a streaming platform to listen to it
