I've felt this way but for me atleast it's moreso towards the year in general, not the actual music
I feel like alot of people mix those two together
It isn't necessarily "magic" that music is missing; you just don't get to experience that same ubiquity in music that made it feel larger than life when you were in your adolescence and you didn't have as much of a say in it as you do now that you're older
Music is inherently magical in a lot of ways, so that feeling can never be taken away.
