I think we're just at a point where there's so much accessibility to so many artist, you really can't expect massive discussion for the non-major acts atp. Outside of the platforms/pages that are literally for those artists (subreddits, social media groups, etc.)

Also I think its a sign of not paying attention if you just think now KTT isn't the ideal source of novelty act discussion. Not saying that in reference to the names you mentioned (the Jpeg thread literally had dozens and dozens of pages lol), but really niche new albums aren't doing 20 pages on here and haven't in years

A lot of the songs are too short and just don't do enough, it's like blue balls for your ears. Isolation is a lot better, RMIV is like a solid 6 or 7
