It may well be a low ticket sales cop out, but this lawsuit would be an awful precedent one way or another if it goes through. Other fests on public land in red states like ACL, Shaky Knees, etc. are at risk of activists suing over the same s***.

These same mfs are probably talking out the other sides of their mouths about government overreach too

Artists having clauses in their contracts that guns must be barred from performance grounds would explain a lot.

Seems like it, to an extent, yeah. Would have to host the site on private property, no public spaces.

Yea festival owl is legit, but first thing I thought of when I saw this news break this morning was shaky knees was legit down the street from where Music Midtown is held and it didn’t get canceled a month ago lol. I’ve been hearing since MM released their lineup about people not going this year, the gun issue is obviously been an awful thing and big problem here this summer in Atlanta but that definitely isn’t the main reason they’ve decided to cancel this
