so high album sales without bundles (what BTS does) don't count now and are fake because they have a dedicated fanbase who actually buy their music

I do actually agree with you that radio needs to be adjusted. What also needs to be adjusted is sales too. Imagine thinking a group of 2-3 thousand people buying 1 song 10-20 times so it charts high is organic . Also blinding lights would’ve been a smash hit without the radio too :)

regardless kpop's main point of interest isn't rlly the states, although companies are trying to push it here as it's the biggest market in music, it does a lot better in Asian markets (China, SK, Japan). Aside from bts and to a lesser extent blackpink no group have been able to crossover and that mainly comes from how organically bts were able to grow an international fanbase, which is where groups like SuperM fail.
