    Does any one know where to find the billboard rule where it says on streams of the release week count toward sales numbers. Other numbers count toward certification

    I donā€™t think thatā€™s written down somewhere. Most people just know thatā€™s how it work.

    Album sales are added from the week the album comes out and after that. Certifications take the streams from every song on the album including the ones that came out before it.

    Here are the RIAA rules. I donā€™t see anything about that on there.

    When do new charts update? Itā€™s today for the UK. Thriller re-entered at #57 after not charting last year.

    Interested to see if it will chart this year after doing better in terms of sales/streams compared to 2019 even in the pandemic.
