Just say you don't get it and move on.
Trying to predict sales and charts is fun little hobby. And the statistics and macro/micro trends are interesting for people that like that stuff.
People talk about box office for movies all the damn time and it doesn't have this stigma that it does for music. They even play in fantasy leagues based on box office
In the context of a hobby and a guess, cool, I get that, but people don’t do that. Box office is also silly, it’s almost a no brainer.

how do you think that would sound? I've heard rumours of it, but Adele has no features in any of her songs, so I'm interested to see how her first feature would go. I thought she would go with Drake as a rapper, and if not Drake than Sam Smith since he's known as a white singer singer too. Kind of similar niches there.
Could be really good or really bad. I just know it would sell a s*** ton tho

The fact that Alicia did 700k for a comeback album and MJB did 700k 15 years into her career and Usher nearly 1.1 million

🐐's
god the people who buy music have garbage taste for the most part
The fact this thread exists with this many replies shows desperate people look for anything to have an edge when fighting for their stanned artists,

The Box and Life Is Good putting up 600 and 500 point weeks lmao

Radio being de-emphasized rn really just makes the chart a free-for-all
They really need to eliminate bundles counting towards sales
s*** is literally a cheat code
Artists really be using cheat codes to go number 1 for a week and then drop hard lol. Rockstar is probably the most organic number 1 we’ve had in a minute. Shoutout Baby.
I’m not counting number 1 debuts as real number 1s anymore unless they have a insanely big debut.
