They've got more dedicated fanbases that will spend money so the songs and albums do well on the charts. And I think as a whole the Pop stans are tired of hip-hop dominating the charts and this is them fighting back
As much as Drake stans get clowned on for caring about numbers they at least never do coordinated buying sprees to boost the music's performance.
