Prince was never a d*** user, he experimented with ecstasy in 1988 because one of his dancers kept telling him it was life changing but that was it, not a big drinker either.
However towards the end of his life last 2-3 years he got hooked to pain killers and needed them to function
Artists have always been eccentric people though, you can go all the way back to the 17th and 18th century and look at Mozart who was a massive alcohol abuser or Beethoven who also drank large amounts daily. I think it comes with the fact they're always "on" and thinking about ideas, life, their current works etc and they use drinks/alcohol to takeaway their hyperactive mind for a few minutes/hours
Hov and 50 don't smoke or drink
Hov smokes cigars in social events or at least used to
Narcissism can rarely ever really be cured
He can try to make it seem like he's changing for a little while, but then he'll always fall back to the real him
It seems like he’s trying to change though and take a lot of the spotlight off him which is good
Before he was heavily like look at me promoting god, and lately he has been on some “I am an agent of god I am just in accordance with his plan” Idk, as a fan I just want to see him happy and healthy
ngl parts of donda seemed genuine for sure but id be lying if i didn't say it felt a little fake or like he was trying rlly hard to come across a certain way
Mayb, to me it all feels very complete and whole
great art comes from great pain. Most of the greatest artists lived painful lives and it tends to lead you to addiction
Damon Albarn (Gorillaz, Blur, etc.)
Guy Garvey (Elbow)
James Hatfield (Metallica) for the last like 17 years he doesn't drink, and he was with the sme girl since 1997
I think that the system has nothing to do with it, it's just how you live when you are a creative, as I think these people have a lot of money and huge chunks of time when they can do nothing and also they have a pressure of what if their new song is not as good etc.

tbh i don’t think a lot of artists are “eccentric” and a lot of those artists were just going thru untreated mental illness
Because somebody was being a bad influence to them
society has a bad influence on them

I mean as a public figure he puts a lot of his personal business out there, right? Not that hard to know he's a narcissist
I don't think I said anything outta pocket. Just read some psychological a***ysis about narcissists

Nah Kanye my fav but that‘s weird. You didn‘t say anything outta pocket. But s*** like that triggers me sometimes lmao. Like these corny people on YT that try to overanalyse s*** about Ye's psyche. Like bruh you don‘t know him you only know what's presented to you. People are too much invested on interpreting someone else's life
beautiful avi
