There are roughly ~100,000 songs uploaded to Spotify every day. While the number of songs being released keeps increasing, we’re limited by the amount of music we can listen to (i.e. too many songs and not enough time). We thought this was a problem software could fix.
Musicplace serves 30 second song snippets based on the music you listen to. If you connect your account with Spotify (recommended) you’ll see songs based on your listening history on Spotify. If you don’t have spotify, you can select genres you like to help kick start the recommendation process.
In addition, you can add friends and share songs with each other all in the app. For every user you follow, you’ll see their activity (i.e. new likes) in real time inside the feed tab.

@op just Spotify compatability atm or AM as well?
You can connect your spotify for better recommendations but not required. We still need some time to refine the algorithms for non-spotify users but we're grinding on that rn

you can still connect without Spotify but the reason you can't connect ~with apple music~ is because Spotify's developer policy limits what we can do with other DSPs
