Side question: Should I play it safe and dress conservatively tomorrow? It's going to be pretty hot here, and what I'd normally consider shorts weather, but some of the reading I've been doing mentions that it's customary for both parties to dress conservatively. But then like other articles say that "dating" itself shouldn't happen. @chicknparm dropped some insight earlier and I don't have a reason to doubt it, but I'm curious to know if you have a different perspective?

If I have quality religious convos either with her or another person of Islamic faith and they're able to answer some questions I still have about God/Allah, etc, I'm open to changing my views thoroughly enough to adopt Islam into my life. I tried the same thing with Christianity - having in depth conversations with pastors where I came in with an open mind. Those convos with the pastors turned me atheist for a couple of years tho tbh

Yeah. I'm agnostic, but it's not from lack of a desire to be a believer. Christianity has a lot of logical fallacies in it that keep me from being able to be a believer of the Christian faith, and I haven't been around/immersed enough in any other religion yet to see if it's more suitable for me. But I'd like to, to at the very least accept and apply the bits of wisdom that resonate with me, if I find myself unable to wholeheartedly accept any one.

id say treat this date like any other date you would go on, if it goes well ask her if she can share what she knows about islam with you, maybe visit her mosque even.

that way you can continue to get to know her and learn about the religion along the way.
