Short games >>>>>
Sometimes, I don’t wanna spent 70 hours on a game
Sometimes I don’t wanna put 120 hours into an RPG
If it’s quality and no BS filler and doesn’t over stay its welcome, I don’t mind spending $60 on a 15 hour game
This is the vibe as you get older. The thought of pouring 80 hours into a AC/HZD type open world side mission slog
Prefer linear games a lot more right now
Im surprised about the amount of people liking short games. I love them if theyre good but only because theyre good games, i dont look at the short length as a plus. I love sinking 150 hours into a game over 2 years and becoming really attached to it.

I tend to get burnt out on playing the same game for more than 30-40 hours.
Like I adored cyberpunk. My favorite game of the decade so far but I was ready for it to end around the 45 hour mark.
Idk just different strokes

Absolutely different strokes!
I totally understand not everyone wants to spend 400 hours collecting pokemon, or days of in game time levelling a character in wow, or spending 80 hours on a morrowind character!
There really is a level of conciseness you can’t get in a game long game, if you put the same development time in 10 hours of story vs like 300 hours of content.
I just get so sad when a game/movie/book/show i love ends and theres nothing left. I get the book hangovers very severely. I just want to draw it out as long as possible and keep living in that world.
Sonic x Shadow Generations
Heard good things about that one. Haven’t played a sonic game since mania. Might check it
Mafia 2 felt like no filler
Missions because even more engaging as it went on
Never played a mafia game. Are they very cinematic or more gameplay focused? How is mafia 3? I’ve seen mixed reviews but the game looked cool

Mafia 2 is very rockstar influenced but also very empty in its open world, theres just a few repeated shops for some clothes
The objectives are the missions themselves, which are actually pretty cinematic and engaging
I see u tho we have similar taste in games
Why have you never tried this? Its the consensus most enjoyed one of all
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is one of my favorite games ever and it can be finished in about 8 hours. Play with a headset for the full experience.

No particular reason, it’s just one of those games I never got around to playing. I see the trilogy is free on ps+ so I’m definitely gonna take a look
