Oh, it's not because she's a tomboy, more so just how manipulative was in earlier episodes, culminating to her being mad that Clark wouldn't reveal his identity to her (which I mean, from her perspective I can almost get because they did have a thing going on) didn't sit right with me.

I've grown to respect her character arc/development ofc, just the characterization was jarring at first.
