Yeah I salute them but I just find it strange. I can’t wait to see the reactions on their faces when we start talking about colonialism and how crackers were being pure demons during that time period.
Also
There’s only 5 black people including the professor who’s a Nigerian nigga.
Professor probably feels like Noname up there in front of your class
so they learning about african culture and history, they probably will expand their knowledge forward and make good decisions based on what they learned from those classes. It's not alarming at all.

Wym? Most of them are self hating and will probably be first to call out their ancestors
I took a gay studies class in college and it was mainly just straight girls and a random fat gay dude. Disappointed.
i would prefer an african class over american or europe history all day
Why?
OP worried about the demographic of the class more than learning something useful congratulations you’re a clown
Why?
Because it was never a topic at my schools, field like i know everything significsnt about us + europe history already

It’s f***ing African history, too...
Like, such a common course of study and home of most of the oldest civilizations on Earth. He’s acting like it’s African-American Studies or something.
I go to a college in the middle of no where on a mountain lol
That sounds amazing
Somewhere in Utah?
Come on now they’re only in like two countries
Unless you counting Arabs and s***.
Also unless you know a lot about the continent the first thing that pops in peoples mind when they hear “Africa” is the stereotypical western African
I don’t see the issue

I don’t really remember highschool history class. And in university I only took Ancient Rome and Greek history.
You right. If it was offered to me I probably would’ve taken it as well. Seems interesting and not really a spoken on topic.

It was only second day of class today and I’m already aware of a lot of black African history.
Y’all white boys keep on getting angry when all I said was I was surprised and expected more black people though.

I don’t know where you’re from but African history that is taught in depth isn’t covered in high school or college at ALL.

Exactly the s*** isn’t taught about at ALL.
If African history was taught so much then why are there so many ignorant ass white people that stereotype the whole continent then

Yoooo for real. It’s always bothered me that people will be like I’m going to travel to Africa....
I remember I took an Uber and the guy was like I moved here from Africa, and I said “that’s a whole continent, what country?” And then we started talking about how nobody says they are from North America...
