I changed my profile picture on Slack (For those who don’t know what slack is, it’s a business messaging app that enables easy commutations for a company) Clients DO NOT SEE THIS.

This co-worker is a serious Mormon. She’s VERY religious, once she shamed me for drinking coffee.. super straight edge, always been cool to me. She’s also very very good at her job. She saw my picture update and she immediately asked what is was... I told her, “it’s a cover from my favorite rapper Kanye, MBDTF Blah blah blah” she didn’t write back...

At 1:37 pm today my boss sent me a message that read,

“Hi, just to let you know your slack picture is stirring things up. Even though it’s pixelated, we’ve got complaints from some other employees, I am sorry and I know it’s silly,would you mind changing it? Personally, I have no problem with it and This is not disciplinary, but a favor to me.”

I said ok and switch my profile picture to the Jesus Is King cover.... 😏

While typing this out my other boss sent me a text confirming it was the co-worker above.

I was guessing she googled it to see wht it was non pixelated but my boss just told me she said, “at a quick glance or squinting you can clearly make it out”

Weird end to the week.
