yeah he's mentioned about posting facebook post like that since my siblings and i lean left

life is pretty much the same. he's had the same job and no deaths or crazy things happening. We would watch ABC nightly news with Dianne Sawyer during dinners sometimes and that was it. When I go downstairs now, I see him watch OAN/Newsmax and random conspiracy videos while he's browsing facebook. the only thing that changed really is how much time and attention he spends on politics

Ive had some talks with him and basically told him that he cant let politics change how he lives his life and have it constantly upsetting him all the time. It seems to have gotten a lot better.

Been tryna get my folks weened off the news (CNN tho) since last March and I have had little success. Its sad to see but what can you really do? My one advice is to get outside and go for walks w him. Separate them from the news and the internet when you can
