lost my lil homie a few years back, he was 15 too, literally like 6 days after he turned 15.
always knew he hated me for the longest time because i accidentally dropped him like 3 feet high while passing him to my brother, that and some other s***.

on the night of his passing he chilled with me for a few hours, didnt want to go to anyone else. randomly woke up in sequence with my brothers, different rooms ofc but we all checked our group chat and knew something was wrong.

but all in time @op s***s always difficult but im sure your dog had a good life while he was with you, my condolences fam

im really sorry that youre going through this right now, my dog died a few weeks ago i had him for 12 years, i always knew the day would come but i never thought itd happen to him for some reason. it hurt so bad and still does. its gotten a little better though so time does help. only thing that helped me was talking to my friends whose dogs died and they made me realize its okay to be so sad about it and knowing my dog lived an awesome life any dog would want and im sure yours did too and he left in peace and wasnt in pain. all dogs have to go but at least you got to give him a loving home and family i think thats kind of comforting. he will always be apart of every childhood memory and he was with me growing up so he will always be tied to me. going back home from school the first time after he died and him not running up to me is when it really hit me hes gone forever. christmas is gonna be so hard. i wish i never got so mad at him for drooling on my clothes 😔 i hope you will feel okay again soon, take all the time you need to cry and be sad 🥺💕
