No cap this is the most American I have felt, and I feel the country is very united right now. Plus I respect Trump's iron fist style of leadership

I was proud to be an American when Obama was in office, but under 47 I feel patriotic

I didn't like his 45th presidency but so far his 47th is going very well. I'm independent but I'm leaning 90% Republican as of this post

But I work in "dei" basically (according to the current administration definition) and every family I provide services to is affected so I was just wondering.

If you mean the effect trump has had in our social lives that makes more sense, but we're all a little confused on what it is you like?

Dei includes services for those with disabilities. I'm a therapist who provides services to individuals who otherwise would be locked in psych wards for their lives, which is more expensive to do because the government (your taxes) is stuck paying for all of it as opposed to insurance companies footing a large portion of the bill independently (which doesn't work with the alternative). My field in red states has been targeted this past month as a result already for this reason. My field is also primarily funded via private insurance (and when it isn't it includes types of school staff or those working for group homes). Dei isnt "give this nonwhite a job they aren't qualified for" nor is that how Trump has chosen to frame it.

The US can't make everything, or even most things China can. Do we really want sweatshops and lack of computers as a first world nation? Economists have already provided that tariffs will explode the housing costs of our nation (why I just bought a home already), and this also covers food, and will collapse many economic sectors as a byproduct. If we become a manufacture nation why would this matter when the people can't afford the goods - unless you're just hoping for our government to profit? But that profit isn't coming back to the people, which is what our taxes were already for.

I won't be mean to you, but you seem like a hurt, desperate person who has been taken advantage of by the Republican party via weaponized misconceptions. I hope you aren't hurt as bad as the people im watching lose everything.

You may have disagreements but that wasn't the focal point of your inquiry. I don't see everything the same way you do, though. Some of what you presented seems a bit hyperbolic by my interpretation. Overall I approve of all Trump has been doing and I do feel more American than ever before. I've never truly felt patriotic until 47
