Played about 10 games from this year, well POE is an ongoing game since 2014 but I played it the first time this year and it had a new expansion this year as well so i counted it

Cant wait for POE2 in 2024 or 2025

I still plan to hopefully play Asgards Wrath 2 VR, Alan Wake 2 & Lords of the Fallen 2 at some point, just havent got to them uet

My two favorite developers dropped major works;

Zelda exceeded sky high expectations (and Mario Wonder an out of nowhere classic)

Starfield was the worst letdown of my gaming life

Don't think I've played a single game released this year except TotK, which was decent, but for me, ultimately underwhelming.

Played Elden Ring tho for the first time at the beginning of the year, replayed it again recently - probably in my top 2 favorite games ever.

Also played through Red Dead Redemption 2 for the first time this year, easily in my top 10 games ever.

I need to get a PS5 finally this year & catch up on the newer titles like Final Fantasy and Baldur's Gate, I just haven't felt the incentive to replace my PS4 Pro as it still runs the online games I tend to play the most just fine (Fortnite, FIFA or CoD, mostly with my homies).
