hello friend i finally got here

i feel like special fx/magic could almost fuse together and create a bigger opener? i didn't love the vocals on the first but i feel like the best of that leading into hyperball as the main show would have been nuts

i think smokescreen thru airhead is the best run. i love how they all kind of begin with 'video game loading screen' atmosphere then waterfall over into your own sound. maybe my only dislike is you hide your vocals too much? i'll get to that later

final three after that as a 'decompression suite' of sorts are the best of it all i think, especially as a lead up to the final. shaRK sets the scene for it with that frustrated almost passive aggressive sound and the next one really feels like the late night club closer track which kinda hits the highs and lows but ultimately feels like an undoing of something (speaking of)

the_undoing - i love the bill callahan/dean blunt deadpan blunt vocal delivery - it captures that relationship, friendship, day, week, year - whatever we hold special fading and ending. i almost think it could have another final vocal line that hits hard, but sometimes it's better if things just fade into the past.

anyway this is my thoughts i wrote into my notes edited a lil while listening like twice over, i hope it doesn't sound like a cringeworthy reviewer or like i'm trying to force your thing into my idea of a 'concept album' cos it's my honest thoughts on it as a flow x
