Cheating is very common but normal isn't the right word at all. It shouldn't happen and it's not OK and I say that as someone who has cheated and been cheated on.
Idk man, you just gotta talk to each other about things that matter or else pack it up and go. I'll always regret cheating and wish I'd been more communicative before it happened because what happens after lingers a lot longer.

No I’m definitely not. It’s an awful thing to do and I wish it didn’t happen so much.
At the end of the day though it’s something that A LOT of people go through at some point in dating, to the point where it is almost a normal experience. And if you have bad mental health and get cheated on it could definitely have bad consequences
But it’s just not as bad or concerning as being outed to everyone you know. If I have a friend who got cheated on and a friend who got outed, I know which one I’d be more worried about

Right. Like outting someone to their entire family and friends suddenly permanently alters those relationships forever. You are completely removed of the choice of having anyone know that information or not and it has a huge impact on your life moving forward
