AshTheRobotOh than yeah. If you’re talking about the Provisional License arc, that considered to be one of the weakest arcs by manga readers.
The end season 3 has a phenomenal fight though.
And the first arc of Season 4 starts slow for most people but is considered good-great by most.So is it safe to say I can skip the last 8 ep of season 3 and start 4?

The first arc of Season 3 is widely considered the best arc of the series to most, so if you think that arc is trash you probably won’t like season 4

Goku hasn’t been an interesting character to me since the cell saga. He does cool s*** but that’s it lol. I could put quite a few shonen protagonists over him

I think if his development just stopped after Z, hed still be at worst like a low A type of guy. But Super really hurt him IMO (hurt everyone other than some of the supporting cast if you ask me).
Off the top of my head, Eren is like the gold standard of a recent protagonist
