They got all this location tracking s***, an app that lets them shut off the phone / specific apps remotely after a certain time.

Even an app from the school which notifies them about what homework has been set n s***.

There should absolutely be boundaries between a parent and their teenager. It should not be to the point to where a parent stands over their kid's back while they have conversations/texts and tracks every move, esp if you did nothing prior to warrant it. Tell them that doing that s*** only drives their kids away once they mature/become adults.
