I'm 22..
My mother saw Dermot Kennedy (Irish Musician, Talented dude) on some talkshow and she thought 'hey you sing, you play guitar, you should do that!'
How can I do that?
Despite what you might actually think.. this is not a s***post.
Honestly, how do guys go about making an album?
do you record your music yet ?
just make some songs and then see what kind of vibe u want to go for
Write music, go to a studio, record music
Repeat
On the real tho don’t do it because she wants you to you gotta feel it. It’s very easy to record quality music these days watch a YouTube tutorial
shout out your mom for believing in your talents tho
If u have a job to get bread and dont have too much responsibility assuming u live with your mom, then u can get this done.
u can make a home studio. Or go to a. professional studio which may cost anywhere from 50-100$ an hour.
If ur finna try and make profit off this album or blow up, buys beats. Go to beats stars or other sites and find beats u prefer then get the track stem leases. ( usually 100$ for beats I like)
If ur not tryna make profit just use free for non profit beats.
If ur going to a professional studio practice your ass off before going there on the song ur recording.
A whole album could easily take anywhere over 10 hours even if u try to maximize your time. After u record u get mixing. There are mixers and masters online u can find but the best are professionals.
Dont try to not get your tracks mixed
Per song, mixing and mastering at a professional is easily minimum 300$.
If u do the home studio option s*** might not sound as good but still , marketable and way cheaper.
This is more general tho
This thread could be the thread we all go back to 5 years from now when OP sweeps the grammys
Everyone’s gonna be like “op won”
