I accidentally sent my package to my old address. It was a necklace of my deceased cousin and Nike panda dunks.

So after I noticed the error, I went to the old house and like 8 people came to the door while I asked if they had seen my packages and they said “no no bad English.” They are foreign and it’s like 10 of them living in a 3/br home. So I kept saying “mail mail paper mail box box package” and describe the items with my hands but all of them just kept shaking their head no. I was getting frustrated (at myself) because I spent $50 on a necklace and $255 on shoes only for them to be lost. Then i tried explaining to them that i was a former tenant of this home but they tried to dispute me and say "you no live here." They were understanding some of what i was saying but not much.

Then as I was about to leave I saw one of the people in the inside wearing the necklace with a picture of my deceased cousin AND my pandas. So I pointed inside the home to their person wearing my items and they locked the screen door and shut the door on me. THEN I look up and see a bunch of people staring out the blinds upstairs AND downstairs and this made me feel crazy. So i walked up to one of windows and tried to politely communicate but they kept staring like i was a animal.

Needless to say always double check your address

This might be f***ed up but they did some f***ed up s*** first. Threaten to report them on some petty s*** or type up a legal document like you're suing and hand it to them. Watch they ass suddenly understand what you're saying and they might even give your stuff back right there. Don't feel no type way about it because remember no matter how nice or elderly they look they stole and played you

You should get the police involved and in a perfect world they would help settle this because that is your property. In real life they don't give a f*** about lost packages so I think that route isn't a option. Good luck op let us know when and how you get that stuff back
