Why not?

Why do so many people have the same people in their top fives all the time? Rap music is what 40 or 50 years old? So many different rappers from different regions all with their unique styles, lyrics, delivery, etc. So many albums and tracks. Yet it's extremely common to see the average rap fan's top five include: Jay Z, Biggie, Kanye, Andre 3000, Tupac, Eminem, 50 Cent, Kendrick, Nas...like the usual names. It makes me wonder if these dudes are truly your personal top five, or do you say any combination of them so people will take your opinion seriously?

Don't get me wrong though, I can understand why people would rank them in their top five but like I said, 40-50 years worth of rappers and rap music...so many eras, vibes, and albums. And it's the same niggas almost every single time
