First half is incredible and deserved to be a full song. 2nd half too short and needed a drake verse. Overall it’s aight but they both end up feeling half baked

Albums can be too long, have bad sequencing, tonal inconsistency, be repetivive, etc, That doesn't reflect the songs themselves. It's a quality of the group, not any individual song.

Got any examples of an album thats got a majority of good songs but isn’t good? Having a theme and sound are major factors but if the songs are good then it’s gonna be at least a decent album usually
