Literally the only rapper ever who matches (and even slightly outdoes) Nas on tracks is AZ.

Pen & energy are 2 different things.
And energy can trump the pen on the right track.
Plus, I dont think Danny's songwriting skills are that far from Nas.
The Hybrid has tons of poignant quotables and songs like The Fields and Scrap Or Die are seriously slept on. When Danny was in his Hip-Hop bag, he was really elite.
