If we're being honest, if 2Pac/Biggie stayed alive, the rap game would be immensely different than the current one. Jay-Z wouldn't have been a mogul at all, because he would still be running under Biggie's wing. Ja Rule and DMX would have less relevant careers, especially since they were both artists that tried to fill that missing gap Pac left. Dipset would be under Jay-Z and Biggie thus they would be less independent.
-Biggie without Puff would've been fascinating tbh. He probably would've gotten more grimy/hardcore street after he left Bad Boy. Puff was the one giving him all the Big Poppa, Juicy, One More Chance type beats. He didn't like doing those songs.
-Pac would be doing movies and an album every 2-3 years. He'd be huge, as he was when he died.
-Eazy E would be as big or bigger than Dr. Dre, Jay and Ye; in terms of rap moguls. And he probably would've found some more amazing talent for Ruthless, he had an incredible ear/eye for talent.
Hmmm biggie was the biggest rnb head
Peep def would hop on the hyperpop wave well the more darker side of it
if he hadnt passed so early do you think that extends the lifetime of the emo rap era

Yeah, him and XXX dying in a relatively close timespan kinda buried that soundcloud era.
Pop Smoke woulda took over the world for sure
they was clowning Pop saying his face look like an airpod the week before he died lmaooo
he wasnt taken seriously by the time meet the woo 2 dropped and was already being written off as a one hit wonder
Would’ve been interesting to see Biggie live through the 50 Cent era. 50 beefed with everybody, so it seems plausible that him and Biggie would’ve gone at it
Tupac would’ve gotten the Kanye 7 track album treatment in 2018

Memes just make artists more famous these days.
With him touring around festivals and dropping the types of hits he had in store, his career would’ve only gone up

easy to say that now but when Meet the Woo 2 dropped Pop wave was already being dismissed as a fad
Gatti/Christopher Walking/War were consecutive flops stateside and it really looked like Pop's best chance at longevity would be switching allegiances and becoming a UK-first act

I remember there were memes about him but at the same time he was getting mad plays way before Christopher Walkin even started poppin off. He was on that upward trajectory for sure everyone around me was playing his s***.

nah he was plateauing in his own city by late 2019
his own manager even realized that and started to push him as an international/UK act because people were writing him off domestically
his death gave him new life in america

It’s no gay-bashing with me. It’s just, be proud of what you are, instead of hidin’ in the closet. And if ya f*** boys in the ass, then don’t be tryna f*** with the girls, too, poisoning the p**** population wit’ ya s***ty ol’ dirty-ass d***.

Facts, lots of fake love for Pop in this thread. People really try to act as if they weren't saying his sound was getting old after MTW2 dropped.
